the Steam Controller feels great with Soma. mouse and joystick at the same time works perfect. and the way you interact with objects (same as Amnesia and Penumbra) feels so good with the pad. plus gyro leaning :banderas:

This shyt is gonna cost a ton, and you need a pretty big room. Still very interested though. :ehh:
they actually say in the video that you don't need much space. but I've already been thinking about how I can clean out this other room I got for VR

You're lucky to have a spare room. I just have a one bedroom, with my computer in the living room.

I wonder how much this'll cost too. Hopefully less than a thousand. I already spent $600 on the Rift. I dunno if I can swallow more than 1K for another VR headset. That said, this looks nice.

I'm actually thinking about building a computer strictly for VR. I've decided against a gaming laptop this year. A nice second (well third, if you count my old shyt) PC strictly for VR purposes would be nice. :jbhmm: It needs a lot of USB 3.0 ports and maybe just one GPU (980ti most likely)

The Rift requires 3 USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port. I wonder what the Vive will require. I'll use the second pcie slot for USB 3.0 maybe :jbhmm:

:russ: I'm a technology junkie to be honest. I don't go to clubs, bars, games or any of that shyt. I spend my money on tech. I've been this way for a while. It also helps that I don't have a wife or kids :manny:

I bought the first round of HDTVs, the first iPod, the first iPhone, and the first VR headset now (the Rift). I'm what you might segment as an "early adopter." I do research for a living, but technology is my passion (well music too, but that's another story). I just love technology breh. :blessed:
