yep, and in that pic he posted earlier, he had 8x MSAA on. I'm pretty sure that card can't handle all that

dude is just a troll. he just keeps saying that shyt to push people's buttons. Crysis 3 is the best looking game I've seen. although I would be pissed if I paid $60 for that 6hr campaign...

Not to mention a 720p screenshot, :heh:

4x MSAA for eye candy, or FXAA for performance

TXAA and SMAA are blurry IMO, and 2x MSAA isn't worth it

I honestly can't tell the difference with AA on in most of my games. I tried playing Far Cry 3 with 4xMSAA and I didn't notice anything different. The performance itself wasn't even crippled. I think either something is very wrong with my computer because AA doesn't seem to do anything.

make sure you're not overriding it in the nvidia control panel or whatever. it's hard to tell the difference between different modes, but I can usually tell if it's on or off

In my Nvidia control panel the global setting "Antialiasing-Gamma Correction" is ON. Antialiasing Mode is Off.
