Getting a new gaming PC soon(like next week), and i'm too lazy to build one.
My question; Is AMD really that bad for gaming?
Who told you amd is bad for gaming.
I'm done with consoles.No one. I was looking into why they are cheaper, and read something about AMD processors getting less clocks per second/rotation or some sh*t idk. Thought I'd come get the word from some gamers that build their own rigs.

iN COMPARSION TO WHAT THOUGH???, are you looking at the gtx 680???
Id get a amd 7970 over the nvidia cardm, it outperforms it and is cheaper.
Nvidia is the apple of game cards, overcharging for nothing imho.

you just aint built for it
i can run that at ~30+fps and
my AA is just on the low end, but
Depends on the board, average is around 30fps with those settings, and then 30-40 if I drop MSAA to 4x.

as far CPU...intel shyts on amd...Id never go AMD nowadays, and I used to be all AMD guy 10 years ago or so.
he's talking about cpu's, and you're talking about gpu's
