i'm gonna chill with my 970FTW+ for a hot minute.
when the dust settles i'll think about an upgrade.
i gotta start thinking about my mobo and cpu soon.
i'm rocking an i5 3570k and an Asus P8Z77-V LX.
it's still holding me down well but within the next year i'm gonna have to start thinking about upgrading.
Right now1070 is going to outperform the Titan X and it only cost $320!?
When should I sell my 970?![]()
I used to feel the same way breh, but I had to let them go.Waitin for the AMD to drop. fukk nVidia
Catch some dudes slipping on craigslist hopefully. You try to dump it at a high price on eBay and you will get hit with that return ASAP once those reviews start hittingWe are about to see some crazy used prices for the 980 and 980 tis. Who is going to give up over $380 for them now that the 1070 outperforms them .![]()

Have the same motherboard, was going to pick up a used 3770K but with the lack of heat sinks on the VRMs, it's not even worth overclocking
When I ultimately upgrade my 980 ti next year I'm not even gonna bother selling it I'll just slide it over to my HTPC and it can replace the 670 in it. The 1070 makes a 980 ti effectively worthless. We are about to see some crazy used prices for the 980 and 980 tis. Who is going to give up over $380 for them now that the 1070 outperforms them .![]()

I mean if you paid $650 for a card and like a year later it's probably not even worth $300 then the resell value on that isn't worth selling to me."worthless" is taking it a bit far.
it's still a very good card and will be for a while.
Will doRight now

i don't even game much on my PC so don't care for having a high end GPU but this just might get copped
