You got 5K to play with? Do what I did (I have a 5K computer). Get a 6850K and dual Titan X Ps. You'll bet set for 2-3 years, My machine is a monster and eats pretty much any game up (except Dues Ex (It's not well optimized). Get a corsair 1200 PSU while you're at it. I used to run with the 1500, but that's overkill. The 1200 does just fine (no coil whine or anything).

Though, I ain't close to touching none of yalls mutli-thousand dollar builds. I just needed a new powerful PC to do 3D modeling, and it just so happens that it's running everything I throw at it at high settings. Never in my life have I seen this, I'm looking at my PS4 like

What cpu cooler u using? Was thinking of the corsair hydro 100i water cooler
Good looks on that 6850k. Was gonna cop the i5 6700k but ill go this route instead.
I use a h100i. It's perfect for my 6850k. I've never gone above 70c
The pascal cards like 16/16 pcie, so the cheapest way to do that is go with the 6850k. If you get 2 cards with a 6700k, you'll be throttled (I know because I had a 4790k at 8/8 and it throttled my performance crazy. The 6700k does the same thing).
Get the Asus deluxe 2 mobo. It's a monster.

I've been an Asus guy my last 3 builds. Their mobos are the best in my opinion. The X99 deluxe 2 is the truth

Some of the ASRock boards look pretty good as well. Holding out hope that Ryzen delivers...we need that competition. I might be the only one here with a Ryzen build
