if you don't already use one, get a map. this one is good

DayZ Map - DayZDB

if you want avoid pvp, get off the coast and head north. avoid Cherno and Elektro. you might wanna hit them up quick, since they both have hospitals, but get your morphine, bloodbags, and get out of that death trap. up north has pvp hot-spots too, like Stary Sabor and NW Airfield, but it's a little more serious, and not dorks running around trying to axe you like in Elektro. peep that map, and learn where deer stands, supermarkets, and other important loot spawns are at

check out Wasteland too. you don't have to download anything. just start up regular Arma 2 OA and filter for "wasteland"

Thanks breh. I can't believe how huge this damn map is. Gonna hop on now and see if I can try to get accustomed to the map from ground level. I've looked at Wasteland, it seems pretty fun.

I got into the closed beta the other weekend. It was kind of cool, but buggy as hell. No one bothered communicating either, so it was weird as hell watching a bunch of people running around going about their business like no one else existed. It's a cool concept, I just think they fell short. I might check out the full game once it drops to $20 or so. Hopefully they iron that shyt out a bit before they release it.

Monitor is stunning so far. It's an Auria, some Korean shyt. Thing is they use the same panels that are found in 1440p Apples / Dells. They can be had for $400 a pop @ Micro Center. (Online/In-Store) Have only gotten to test Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite so far,

Screenshots really don't do it justice since Steam compresses them,

Yea I heard the BenQ's are even made at the Samsung factories...

Hopefully I can get around to picking at least one up this weekend...
