Ended up buying a Metro Last Light code off eBay for $24. Only on PC can you do that.

it's a really good game. much better than 2033 IMO. but yeah, there's no need to pay full price for a short single player game in this day and age. there's a lot of codes out there cause people got them with nvidia cards

I'm enjoying it more than I did Crysis 3. Game really pulls you in. Hearing these motherfukkers crawling around with the surround headset got me, :sadcam:

I find stealth a bit overpowering on the human AI though. Rarely do I have to waste bullets on them.

yep, my one complaint would be the stupid/blind human AI too. sometimes I go in guns blazing just because I'm bored (aka not challenged) of sneaking around

but the level of detail and atmosphere is amazing. in some ways, it reminds me of Max Payne 3. it also doesn't try to be a epic mega-action game like Crysis 3. the action segments in this game tend to be rather short and broken up, and I kinda like that pacing. at the same time, it's a very 'pure' shooter, in that it doesn't have a lot of extra crap like 'skill trees', dialog choices, and various RPG elements that tend to invade a lot of modern shooters. all in all it's a very tight package: short & sweet, without a lot of filler (I haven't finished it yet). I've seen some reviewers comparing it to Half Life, and I think that's fair (and obviously a huge compliment)

I use a logitech g400

you might be able to find it for around that price

it also broke (it would randomly disconnect. probably a loose wire). probably cause I dropped it too many times. and Logitech replaced it, pretty much no questions asked. they just sent me a new one and didn't even want the broken one back :obama:

i have been using all cooler master stuff. CM storm quickfire mechanical keyboard and a CM storm xornet mouse. they get the job done and are cheap, plus, you can put custom keys on this kind of keyboard.

I fukks with Logitech heavy due to their customer service. When my G5's left click went bad they sent me a brand new G500 no questions asked without needing me to send the broken one. I recently just got my G930 headset replaced, wasn't really anything wrong with it, just felt like getting a fresh one. For that they did require me to send in the old one.

Had to disable that Steam Beta shyt cause of that. Every time you opened the shyt it would need to update something.

oh god. I have the beta client, and they seriously updated it like 3 times the other night. Valve got dudes burning the midnight oil and shyt

that's also why I uninstalled TF2 and DOTA 2: they get updated constantly. that kind of support is cool if you play the game, but it sucks when it's just some game you don't really play in your library
