Also, I got the first game in one of those humble bundles for next to nothing. Is it worth playing that before copping this?

gtx 660. on 'very high', 'normal' tessellation, and physx on. my frame rate only falls below 30fps in a few non-action parts. I actually didn't think I'd be able to run it so well, and played through the whole game expecting to have to turn shyt down at some point, but never did. the benchmark it comes with also does a good job of showing you what your minimum frame rate will be (that's what a benchmark should do IMO, but never the less Tomb Raider and Bioshock didn't do a good job of that)
I never finished Metro 2033, after trying to play it a few times (I'm tempted to try again after finishing Last Light). I definitely think Last Light is a better game, and see no problem with playing it first. if you already own 2033, you might want to check it out, but don't let it turn you off from getting into Last Light

I def recommend checking the 1st one out as the story ties in to the 2nd pretty well. Though I think the 2nd is improved over the 1st in every which way I definitely also enjoyed 2033. Also, I recommend you play this game with a headset if you have one,

Anyone else beat Metro LL?
i got a 5 day weekend coming up and my daughter is going to be out of town until 7/16. my goal is to beat metro 2033 and then beat metro LL in 2 days, then spend my birthday weekend paintballing, clubbing, and hitting up the jazz/reggae fest.
