Have a question for yal...
I just peeped the PS4 thread and just read that the PS4's graphics card will be the equivalent of the 7850. I have that in my PC now. I'm assuming that 2 of those cards crossfired will outperform next-gen consoles for the foreseeable future right?
the hardware in the consoles won't change, so if you crossfire with another 7850 then you will outperform next this next gen of consoles forever.
Apparently everyone has their own definition of what that is. Nor will I on your advise of coupling it with a high end nvidia gpu when there a certain amd ones that can CFX with the APU.

I bought a 7870 earlier this morning and I replaced my old gtx 550 ti with it but after I did that the computer wouldn't POST. I checked RAM, pci-e gfx card connectors, cmos battery, usb devices and nothing. I put the old gtx 550 ti in and it doesn't post either. No beeps or anything with either card. Fans and hard drive spin so idk. Last thing I did with the computer was shut it down the night before. I'm hoping it's not a shorted mobo because I really don't feel like having to buy a new mobo already.
