is the pc beeping when you turn it on?
most motherboards will let off a series of beep to tell you what the problem is.
look in the manual for what the beeps mean.

my motherboard also has led lights on it next to certain components that go off if there is a problem. when i built my current rig the ram light was on and my pc would not show a display with all 4 sticks in, only 2 or 3 sticks would start up.

turned out that the the default power sent to the ram was 1333 mhz and my ram was 1666 mhz...after changing that in the bios i was good to go.

Have you plugged in the 4 pin cable from your PSU to your motherboard?

Is your monitor set to the right output, :manny:

also, i'm pretty sure all mobos beep once when they turn on properly.
my mobo has a tiny speaker that i had to hook up to it if i remember correctly.

strange if you don't even hear the single beep.

If you have coax you should be good for cable. Also Comcast installing said coax isn't overly expensive

If you have satellite you should have a coax connection in which, cable net is a go.

should i hold on to it for another year?
if i did upgrade it what do you fellas think i should be looking at?
