What that budget smell like though, :takedat:

probably gonna sell my 560ti and put that money into my new joint.
let's say i get $125 for it...it's about 6 months old. i'd throw down another $150 on top of that. so i'm trying to keep it under $300.

i've been thinking about upgrading my 560ti...it's serving me rather well at this point but i'm getting that itch.

should i hold on to it for another year?
if i did upgrade it what do you fellas think i should be looking at?

unless you got the patience to wait out another 12 months till the 800 series comes out, might as well buy one of the 700 cards now and enjoy the power of them for the full duration

cause if you buy it in november and the 800s come out in feb you gonna be more mad than if you do it now

What do you plan on playing this year ?

Games like battlefield are more processor dependent than video card dependent, even though its one of the best looking games.

for instance, a i7-3770k processor with a 560 ti will have battlefield 4 running better than an i5-3570k with a 670 gtx

Went and tried a new stick of ram. Tried it in both slots, still no video. Psu is plugged in both spots correctly. My mobo did come with a little speaker but the manual is giving nõ idea where to put it. I guess it goes on the only 4 prong spot but I don't hear any beeps still.

right now i'm playing the new Devil May Cry reboot. i'm getting 120-160 fps.
i've recently played Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite, Sleeping Dogs, Max Payne...so that gives you an idea of what i play.

i'm looking forward to the new Star Wars Battlefront.

i have a i5 3570k and 16gigs ddr3.

did your mobo come with a manual?
it will tell you exactly where everything needs to get plugged in.
it's easy to make a dumb mistake if you don't take your time and using a manual to set your shyt up for the first time is a priceless resource.

if all else fails then....

He kinda right but then again a 560ti vs a 670 is one hell of reach.
a Better comparison is a a "i5 3570k with a gtx 660 ti" vs a "Fx 8350 with a gtx 660" on say Battle field 3 or Crysis
will run better on the Amd system because they make use of them cores.

Yeah, just the card comparison was a bit cray.
