so i ran a deep memory test and no problems were found.
i've made no hardware changes...don't know why i'm getting blue screens while gaming.

Far Cry Blood Dragon fukks with your shyt. It fukked up my system too. So did Far Cry 3. I had to get my old graphics card replaced because of that game :damn:

Now I'm starting to have GPU problems too. I'm getting shadow flickering like crazy in some games. Maybe it's just the games, but I dunno. Is shadow flickering something I should be worried about?

Nvidia 320.18 WHQL Display Driver is Damaging GPUs - ModCrash

Nvidia 320.18 WHQL Display Driver is Damaging GPUs
It seems as soon as Nvidia hit an all time high with their GPU’s, there is evidence that the 320.18 WHQL display drivers are killing off GPUs. Fortunately it hasn’t killed every card it’s touched (It’s actually a very low amount), but there is hardly any good news to report about the 320.18 WHQL display drivers.

It simply started with users going to the Nvidia forum thread to give feedback on the 320.18 display drivers. On 05/23/2013 at 02:31 PM Nvidia 320.18 WHQL display drivers went live. Below is a timeline of how the release of the 320.18 went down, it’s not pretty.

My temps are looking good. Around 70 for most games, 80 for some others (like tomb raider). I dunno. I might have to RMA it again. I'll continue to do tests later tonight.

that's a bit on the high end, i'm assuming the temps you gave are in Celsius.
my card has never hit 70c even with games like Tomb Raider. probably max out at 68c.

:whoa: you would have to disable your gpu. and vga is crap

edit: your monitor and gpu doesn't have dvi?

I ended up copping a DVI-D to HDMI cable from the TigerDirect store by my crib. They didn't have any 6 foot DVI-D male to male cables in stock and the next option for that was like 30 dollars and I was like hell nah.

In regards to Blood Dragon and Far Cry 3, if you have factory overclocked cards or have overclocked them yourself you'll want to either increase voltage or drop the overclock. Both these games truly test your systems stability.

He has a 690. Normal temps for that card.
