I like cyber power PCs. If you go to there site, you basically can build whatever you want, for a minimal extra fee.

In your situation, I'd try to find that extra hundred or so and get:

Better everything. That 650 in the other system
The CPU in the other joint is better though right? I don't need it to be a monster NOW. Couldn't I just upgrade the GPU and power supply later and smash that system you linked? I gotta stay in the 1,000 range anyway so it doesn't really matter but I'm saying.

the cpu is "better", but you probably won't see any difference in games. that i5 is plenty. the better gpu on the other hand will make a big difference. it's $100 more, but you'll be straight for awhile. upgrading your psu and gpu is gonna run you more than $100, and good luck selling that 650

Yeah, it's marginally better, but not by much according to this site:

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-3770K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4670K

Yeah, you could update the GPU and power supply later if you absolutely need to stay in the 1K range. It isn't the worst system in the world, but daze is right

The PC he linked was more than a 100 dollars more though....the one I linked was almost 300 dollars cheaper....still think its worth it to go for the one he linked?

my bad, I didn't even look at the price. I thought cig said it was $100 more

keeping with the theme that you don't need the i7, you could save some money with this

http://www.sears.com/cyberpowerpc-g...p-00343397000P?prdNo=4&blockNo=4&blockType=G4

it has a i5 4670k and the same (crap) gtx650

I was looking around there on sears for a decent build that had an i5xxxxk and no gpu. I didn't see anything, but that might be something to think about if you plan on upgrading anyway
