Looks like the front part that the logo is on is plastic. Rub some acetone in an inconspicuous area just to test before going ham on the logo(bottom side). An easy fix would be black electrical tape. :manny:
front is aluminum, but I will hit this thread back up soon.

Feels weird to go Intel again

@2gunsup you ever owned a silverstone case? Mine should be here by Tuesday and I am trying to see if I can remove the front logo. I am assuming rubbing it out with alcohol will do, but I am not sure it will be enough.

Don't want to fukk up the finish

Why this case if you dont mind me asking? Will it accomadate some of these monster GPUs out here that are like a foot in length damn near?

WHen the fukk is that southpark stick of truth game gonna come out? Obsidian is making it, so I know it'll be good, but it's been on a 2013 release date for like a year now. I need a new RPG brehs (I guess I'll just play Borderlands 2 until GTA V comes out :whoa: I know)

@Demonic Jenkins

I'm building something that small because I'm hardly ever home and gaming on a laptop is too limiting. This thing is going to be a beast and I'm trying to see if there is any way I can possibly fit whatever comes after titan in there.

I can fit this thing along with a mini kb, mouse, and Xbox controller in a bookbag and be good to go :stylin:

Do any of you have experience with Crossfire setups with two different models of cards?

I already have a Sapphire 7970 GHz in my PC. I was thinking of picking up this card and adding it.

The thing is, I've never used a multi-GPU setup before. I expect that I will not be able to tolerate any microstutter if there will be any, that kind of thing just takes me out of the game when it happens.

Is this upgrade a good idea, or should I wait until AMD releases their new cards later this year (or for Nvidia's Maxwell next year) to switch out the card I have now?

Just wait, why do you want a Multi-GPU solution anyway? The 7970 is a beast

I would recommend Maxwell and then run in SLI since SLI > Crossfire

That upgrade itch is hard to resist lol

I guess I'm partially influenced by the free 3 games that come with the new card. I figure if I'm planning on upgrading I might as well get as much as I can for my money.
