does that mean they have to receive my rebate form by then? or does my forms need to be dated and sent out during that time frame? (meaning they get their hands on it sometime in November (assuming I sent it out today)

brehs. finished my computer about 2 hours ago. I'm on it right now. bytch is fast as fukk. I mean restarting and being back at my desktop in 11 seconds. Its stupid. Got drivers and what not downloaded and i have some anti-virus as well. any recommendations? Downloaded steam and got some of my old games re downloaded. Downloaded the Grid 2 demo and threw everything on Ultra. It was pretty as fukk. Didn't expect that. I need to get a controller. Prolly just gonna cop a 360 controller and spend some dough on some games tomorrow. shyts about to get so real.

get a program that allows you to control fan speed on your GPU.
i've got EVGA precision, i also use to to overclock and see my frame rate while in game.
it also monitors GPU temps.

Make sure you keep an eye on humble bundles. Just Google it.
Slickdeals and reddit video game deals are a must follow as well.
I use a 360 controller on there too. I will upgrade to the xbox one controller when they release the drivers next year.

What OS are you using? Windows 8.1?
y'all be overclocking GPUs like that. my processor is set to 4.2 GHz constantly when its supposed to be 3.4 GHz but I've never overclocked the GPU.
sometimes i bump the power target up to 105% but other than that i leave it at stock.
I got a wired 360 controller on my PC that's just dedicated for it. don't know if i'll ever use the XBO controller on it.

requires desktop access. its basically just a command line script. maybe if you got a second monitor you could put it on that.
Nah, I'm using 7. 8 looked a bit clunky too me. Is 8 going to be better for games in the long run? At that can you run it sight or whatever I'm pretty much good to go max on anything but BF4 said it recommended Windows 8. So...yeah

Honestly, screw the start menu/RT hate. Windows 8.1 is a beast of an OS. Extremely efficient in using resources of the computer. I get the start menu hate but the actual operating system is a vast improvement of windows 7. Only minor driver issues I have had to deal with is the only negative thing I can say, but those will get fixed quickly. A couple already have.
Sweetfx. It improves your image considerably especially the lumasharpen tool.
MSI afterburner to monitor your temps and gpu usage.
HWMonitor is another good monitoring program.
Rivaturner comes with a tool called D3Doverrider. If you get games that are screen tearing or whatnot use that tool and cut on Vsync/triple buffering and see how it is to your liking. It's not a perfect solution but it sometimes gets the job done but that's all up to you. Some people can tolerate juddery gameplay whilst others barf at the thought of their games playing at 59fps.
