I dont trust those AMD bench marks man ive been burned too many times...

Wheres the i7-3770k ?

A 3770K is pretty much on par with a 4770K.

the game actually takes advantage of hyperthreading, so the i7's do good

Yeah, but I have to wonder why the 4670K is at the 2600K's heals. I don't believe the IPC between them are that far apart. Surely not enough to make up for 4 additional cores.

See now after tinkering in my bios and turning off those power saving/cool and quiet/ turbo core/c6 core state etc options my problem where the framerate was plunging is gone. I just jumped in a 40 man server on Golmud Railway and the framerate never went below 50. It even reached as high as 70-80fps but this is a huge map with open areas so infantry was scattered around. I'm going to try another map to see.

Yup everything is smooth now I played for about 15 minutes ultra/high settings MSAA off/AO to SSAO, FXAA Off and the game plays smooth. I got it capped at 60 with TB/Vysnc via RadeonPro. It didn't tank and in the midst of huge explosions from up close tanks getting destroyed by me the frames didn't dip below 30.

Now I can be anal and throw this rig over a bridge since this is absolutely unacceptable performance according to @winb83. 30-60fps on high/ultra in MP when PS4 will run it at 60fps is a bit threatening :merchant: to me but :ehh: fukk it its in full 1080P. I also want to see if the mantle update coming next month will provide a nice bump in performance. I'll get a CPU cooler tmrrw to get this thing cooler. :win:

Now if I can fix this freaking blank screen after login Widows 8.1 is giving me.

I can't believe thea damn mobo won't post. Got that 780 for $440 and put all that stuff in the new case and nada. I breadboarded the mobo with just the processor and memory in it and the fans spin but no beeps, no post, no signal. Took the memory out and nothing. Gotta make the hour drive back to Microcenter today and swap the mobo and processor since i cant determine which is at fault.

That is cable management all the cables are zip tied around the edges of the case. The middle is clear. Thats a mini ITX case theres not even enough room for a stock cooler in there. Has to buy a water cooler.

Is that a CM 120?
Have you tried resetting the mobo's bios? I'm assuming you've also made sure the PSU's 4 pin 12v connector is plugged into the mobo.
Have you tried the ram in a different machine?
