Nah, Battlefield 4 is still fukking my shyt up. I looked at msconfig, task scheduler, all of that shyt. Waste $60 on Battlefield 4 brehs and turn your SSD into an HDD :scusthov:.

Might have something to do with how full the SSD is especially if its an off brand SSD.

The money is only good at Staples, I'm good on pencils and paper, nor do I want to pay premiums on their overpriced electronics, :manny:

:heh:
I wouldn't laugh at Linux anymore breh.

Microsoft pissed off lord Gaben and some serious momentum going forward. That ubuntu/steamOS is going to be serious in a couple of years

never the less, go into the Origin "Application Settings", and make sure the "Automatically start Origin when I log into Windows" box isn't checked

I can't think of how else BF4 would slow down your boot up. you can't even run the BF4 exe without having Origin and a browser open

Yeah, I got that setting off.

Nah, I got a Samsung SSD that is only half-full. But, this game isn't even installed on that, it's on my 4tb HDD.

The funny thing is, no other origin game has ever caused this problem before. Origin has been fine up until BF4 :bryan:

Am I gonna have to pirate this shyt so that I don't have to use Origin? :ohhh: But then I can't play online I guess, which is the whole point :patrice:

fukking origin:pacspit:

how much does it affect your boot time?

like double (forreal)

I just login and it sits there for like 15-20 seconds. It normally is instantaneous

I'm thinking it might be a BF4 direct x issue, as everytime I system restore, it deletes that shyt, uninstalls BF4 and it's all good again.

Any suggestions on how to fix the direct x issue?

I'm trying one more time (fingers crossed). If it doesn't work, then I'm just marking it off as a loss.

So you've uninstalled BF4 and everything went back to normal? To fix DirectX I'd uninstall it, run CCleaner to clean up the registry (make sure to select create backup of registry) and then reinstall DirectX.

I actually just did that...lol. It works now. :wtf:

The load up times are back to normal and the game runs great. (dem graphics and optimization, even at 5760x1080 :ohlawd:)

The only other issue I have is i can't get afterburner to display my fps, temps, etc. in-game (not a big deal, but it would be cool to see what I'm getting).
