welcome to the team breh :salute:

great parts :obama:

you got a microcenter or you gonna wait for a black friday sale?

I think you should hold out on a good monitor (or two if you have space) i would even recommend a refurbished ips dell monitor or something, your eyes will thank you for it (reduces stress and quality is :ahh:)

Good looking out. I'll look into the dell. I'm just looking out for the best deal and picking up parts when possible. Hopefully have it completed by christmas break.

So, it turns out my BF4 problems weren't BF4 problems at all, at least not completely. fukking McAfee real time scanning was the problem, which didn't start until after BF4 was installed. I'm not sure what all of this means, or why McAfee is scanning BF4 before it is even launched, but whenever I turn off real time scanning, my computer boots up as fast as it always did. Once it's on, it's back to booting up slowly. Any suggestions on how to fix this? What could McAfee possibly be scanning with BF4 before it is even up and running? I see nothing in msconfig or scheduled tasks. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
