Does anyone know if there is a way to play legally bought EA games without using Origin.

:to: Brings a tear to my eye to see a new member join the master race.

I just finished setting up my cousin computer and boy it runs like a dream. I got him the same mobo I have(Asus M5A78 L m-lx plus) with a FX 6300 and a 2gb GTX 660 with a 2GB DDR3 stick of ram(he used his existing 2GB DDR3 stick) and a case. Total price came up to $374 I believe. The GTX 660 was a steal, got it for basically $139.

Now he's looking for a good controller to play some games.

It was a open box one. I asked a Microcenter worker for some codes and he handed us three cards:Two batman arkham origins, ACIV:BF and Splinter cell blacklist. This guy didn't even ask me nothing just what brand. If anyone wants Batman Arkham Origins I got a code for $20. :jawalrus:

Yea he was running low on funds so he's settled down to 4 for now but will be getting 4 more next week. Surprisingly the PC ran smooth as butter anyway. I tried Sonic racing, Dust:An elysian tail, Bastion, and they ran full speed maxed out. It was a sight to behold to see such exquisite graphics producing before your eyes on a beautiful Sony bravia display.

:patrice: I'm thinking of returning my 7870 and getting a GTX 660 Ti man the freaking ease of downsampling is crazy but dat mantle...

"The PC market continues to be in free fall, having now seen its seventh consecutive quarter of declining worldwide shipments. Worldwide PC shipments dropped to 82.6 million units in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to Gartner, a 6.9 percent decrease from the same period last year. It's worth emphasizing that this past quarter resulted in a total of 315.9 million units shipped in 2013, a 10 percent decline from 2012, and the worst decline in PC market history. The overall shipment level was equal to the one in 2009."

The tablet takeover Steve Jobs envisioned is near completion :sadcam:

Yes, the overall PC market is dropping, but the gaming section of that market is growing
