massive framerate drops, stuttering and quick screen freezing. Only on BF4.

shyt was just fine yesterday. That's what makes me think hardline beta was behind it.

Bring up that benchmark graph. Press the ~ key to bring up the console while in game and type in
"perfoverlay.drawgraph 1" without the quotes.

Do you see spikes?

PCs are pissing me off. Now my fukking sound card is acting up

When I put it in 5.1 mode, s/pdif out, it plays fine for 5 minutes and then it starts to cut out for no goddamn reason. It just started recently. I have no idea why. I guess I'll have to reinstall the driver or something.


Edit: I guess it was a driver issue. At least I hope. fukking Windows 8.1 updates fukking shyt up I guess

I have a card reader that I installed a while ago. I plug my SD cards directly into the reader. It's no big deal, because I can just import my photos with the card in the camera via USB anyway.

the thing is xinput has become 'standard' for pc games. Sony could release drivers, but they would need to establish their own api, and have it supported in games, to really offer full support for their controller

That's why I won't buy one for my PC. I'm a little annoyed the xbox one controller can't work wirelessly on the PC yet.

at this point the DS4 works pretty much flawlessly so I really don't see what Sony can do to offer better support. The latest ds4 tool works with virtually every game via blutooth without any third party tools or workarounds.

Yup.I just press the home button the DS4 and it auto connects to the bluetooth on the desktop. I then just click the ds4tool and launch it from my taskbar and it's changes to xinput.

The DS4 uses DirectInput, but the DS4tool is an XInput wrapper for the DS4. Like I mentioned while playing Rising it was a little confusing getting used to Xbox button prompts, but it's a non-issue right after that. I just had no idea they even made the touchpad work as a mouse also until earlier today. The controller works pretty much flawlessly, that's how I finished Brothers earlier.

So props to whoever created DS4tool, I was just wishing we seen official Sony support for the controller.

Why do games look better on my monitor then they do with this hdmi cable to the tv. This shyt be lookin a tad dusty on the television, even when the refresh rate is at 60. Maybe time for a new tv.
