I am tempted into seeing what I do next. I was looking at the SilverStone RVZ01 to build in as well

Finally, someone who shares my sorrow! I still have my silver Zalman HD135 and it's as shiny as the day it came out the box (back in 1776), but the center of my new TV stand makes it stick out by about an inch. I refuse to have a case that has the USB ports on the front, though. It just screams I'M A COMPUTERRRRRRRR!!!! I like the slick DVD-style cases instead, but that's because I have a full ATX case. I currently have an Originae X11, but again...1776. I'd like something a little sleeker.

Actually, I could use some advice, brehs and brehettes. I know this is a dumb question, but I'm having a horrible brain fart here. Assume that I want to have one small HTPC build and build a server to store my media and games (which is approaching 6 TB at this point). In order to make them all run as fast as they currently do, do all of the drives need to be SSD, or just the main one that has the OS? My guess is the former. I can keep my movies & music on regular SATA , but my games? After playing on SSD, I'll never go back to anything else.

that thing cost too much. I get that it's small but that's a heavy premium to pay just for that size.
Always will be a premium, but thats actually the best price to performance steam machine I've seen.

Are you checking your temps? This happens sometimes when a fan isn't spinning or if your CPU is getting too hot.

It's quite tough to get a case for media center builds that can fit into modern media center cabinets or shelves due the depth of the case. You either get some weak-ass micro build that can't even run SNES emulators or a full sized build that sticks out like a sore thumb. Steam is going to make money hand over fist.

You can fit a top end PC into a Node 304 case and it'll fit fine. Sure its not as small as that Steam one but it's not holding a GTX 980 in it like a Node can.
