I'm going z97, 4970k. Took my titan x's outta my current build. I think they're fukked up. I put em back in the box until the new machine is built. I might have to RMA em, if they're fukked up on the new build.
I went way overkill on a psu too. I got a corsair ax1500i
It's way overkill for 2 cards, but I might add more in the future, so I'm future proofing that shyt. Plus, it's supposedly the best psu you can buy. I'm not fukking around with bullshyt anymore. This 1200w thermaltake I currently have is a piece of shyt.
I'm sad I gotta wait like a month to use the titan xs again though. I'm buying parts piece by piece, but should have everything built in a month.
I might just send the titan xs back to get tested by nvidia. Something is completely wrong with them. Flickering DP, artifacting, fukked up idle temps. Put the 780tis back in and everything is back to normal. The thing is, I think my 780ti's use more power than my titan xs. I dunno what's wrong with these fukking titans
Everything should be done by the time Witcher 3 comes out though (I hope)

Thanks breh. shyt really stresses me out. I'm gonna try to rma my titans tomorrow. fukking bullshyt that I got fukked up cards. Artifacting and display port flickering on multiple monitors, so I know it's the cards. Nvidia better come through with some new shyt. I talked to em all last week. Finally had to just take em out and put back the 780tis. Everything is fine now, so I know it's not my mobo or psu. It's the damn cards. Yeah the shyt is nice. It pretty much fills your entire peripherals so I dont miss triscreen as much as I thought I would. Every game just works or is easy to get working in the ultrawide aspect ratio. Movies are in their native 2.35 so no black bars
And the curve is actually useful when you sit this close because that's how curved screens are supposed to work. You need the screen to fill your entire field of view for the curve to be beneficial, just like in movie theaters. Overall, an amazing purchase.
