I ain't trying to go all out. I'm fine gaming on a laptop at 720p.

This, and most people can't even tell the difference, we won't even get into the fact that the human eye isn't going above 720 resolution/ 1440 is just a waste of money, unless you're zooming into textures ala Photoshop, but if you're just playing games and watching movies, 1080 is more than enough.

I just won a eBay auction for a 2013 Sony VAIOaio with a AMD A10 APU.

Since it's a 2013 model, it uses a Richland APU. Is it possible to swap out the motherboard so I can upgrade to Kaveri (or maybe even Carrizo)?
