Astro A50s are the best in my opinion. Been rocking them for years. Kinda pricey though
i'll save my pennies up, they look nice.

They're real nice.Just make sure you have optical out and Dolby digital live (not all mobos have that). If you got a sound card, then you most likely have Dolby digital live
Yeah, but they sound better with optical out and Dolby digital live. Just warning you. There is a noticeable difference when you use Dolby digital live.i don't have a sound card.
the reason why i want wireless is because i like to walk around the apartment as i take care of household chores.
if i'm cooking dinner, sweeping, mopping or doing dishes i want to be able to listen to podcasts with my headphones.
i have really long usb chords so i can bring my Sony dongle to the middle of my apartment and my headphones pick up the signal everywhere.
i don't have optical audio right now and don't really need it.
the Astros you posted will allow me to do both when and if i choose to.

Well, I guess if you don't know what you're missing, it won't be a big deal to you. I got a sound card specifically for the A50s though. Once you hear the 5.1 and base with Dolby digital live, you can't go back.i've never had the privilege of using Dolby Digital Live with my headsets.
if i were gaming i would eventually take advantage of it.
but if i'm just listening to podcasts around the house i don't need Dolby 14.8 so that i can hear the host cough in a very convincing manner.

Don't hook em up to your consoles (if you have any) or tv, cuz then you'll be hooked. It's that good breh (you can get an external sound blaster omni select 5.1 sound card for like $80 though, when and if you decide to go that route)
Yeah, that's how I justified the $300 headphones as well. You won't be disappointed with the A50s. Everybody that has them loves em and they get great reviewsi'm in a rough patch right now with the cash flow.
the only thing i spend any real cash on is my rig and it's peripherals such as headphones.
i don't want to drop 80-100 every 6 months on wireless headphones.
if i have to drop 300 for a well built pair that sounds great then so be it.
i spend enough time on my pc to justify spending that much.

Sony used to make quality headphones. I've had this pair of mdr-v500's for like 15 years. but the last few pairs of Sony earbuds I got, just stopped working after a few monthsi need a good pair of wireless headphones for my PC.
i had the Sony Pulse Elites but they completely fell apart in under a year and the battery life was ass.
they also did not fit on my head well, they slid around too much.
i am currently using Sony Golds. the folding hinge on the left side broke recently (after about 9 months of use).
i was very gentle with my Golds and they still broke. i'm using tape and paper clips to keep them together.
i love the battery life on the Golds and they fit great.
i just need a sturdy set of cans that are wireless and won't fall apart...built in mic preferably.
I'll take it. It'll complete my collection. Thanks in advance. Also, anybody want a free ass creed syndicate key? I got it for free when I bought me another Samsung 850 evo ssd. I been done with ac, so if u want it, get @ me. It's uplay tho![]()
