I dont know...I just did a hella hood thing, put up the laptop on a book and stuck a decent-sized regular plastic fan on the side

the funniest shiit is that it seemed to work so far. the highest it went is ~85 or so and thats just for random short bursts. seems stable at around 75 for skyrim on high settings :ehh:

definitely need to take the dust off and repaste tho.

but I feel like a cooling pad might help a good amount.

Thats funny. I used to use 2 books to prop up my laptop. You gotta make sure all those vents can breathe.

So I picked up an HP Envy 15 so to supplement my desktop. I was originally going to go with a Macbook Pro but in the end, I decided fukk Apple development, I'd rather get soem decent specs on a laptop. I also could have gone with an Asus G55 or one of those custom Sagers but I didn't.

In any case, the Envy is sexy and is pretty solid for my needs. It can play this-gen games, usually with better performance than the console counterparts. It's got me playing Batman Arkham City (will hopefully finish it this time) and some SSFIV:AE 2012. Not to mention Binding of Isaac when I don't want to pull out a pad.
