My SSD has 33 GB out of 120 GB available.. but I feel like ive uninstalled every game and the biggest folder (x86) folder is only 3 GB in size.. 
theres something installed on my computer (probably a game in an unknown folder I dont know about) taking up a large portion of my SSD. I couldnt even install GTA 5 on it cause it didnt have enough room
anyway I can check what folder is taking up all the space

anyway check the properties of every folder to see which one is taking up so much space

Use something like space sniffer...
Are you installing steam games on that drive on the regular? If so...you know steam doesn't remove the redistrib packages for any game you install...
So for example...you only need to download a direct x version one time to play any number of games that support it...steam downloads it every time you download a game...
So instead of having direct X 10 downloaded 1 time to play 10 games that supports it, steam downloads direct X 10...10 times...for 10 games...
Install this and run it and see how much space you recover

I run my games off 1TB SSD drives...i've recovered up to 20 GB of space...
And you probably need a bigger drive than 120GB for GTA V....when you install it, it decrypts and does a bunch of other security checks against the files you downloaded while also making a copy of the files...meaning that at some point of the installation it is going to need to access at least 120 GB of hard drive space...that drive is going to have to be pretty much empty for GTA to install completely...1 kb over and the install will stop...
I got steam on my 3 tb drive cause at first i thought it was that too. But even then i only got Rust installed.
Its probably some dumb game i downloaded, played once and forgot about it.
When looking for it i forgot I got ut4

The damn titan x sli just can't do nvidia surround without artifacting. Put everything back on one monitor and no more artifacting. I might have to get my money back. I didn't buy 2 titans to play on one monitor. I coulda just got 980s. Nvidia is getting talked to tomorrow. shyt is unacceptable.
three monitor gaming has done me in again. I'm almost done. This shyt is almost not worth it. I might be playing games on consoles again. fukking shyt man
