yeah I cant believe the prices on these video cards
last time I got a top video card was in '07 and I paid $500 for it and never even played any intense game for more than a few hours total
big waste of money
now I'm thinking of adding a video card to the system I got at the auction since it comes with a lower model but Im completely lost as to what to get
i7 system with 16GB of rams and its just sitting there being unused

I woke up re-energized. I'm not giving in. I'm gonna get nvidia surround to work on the titan xs, goddamnit! I just can't leave it behind; 6K will be in my possession, even if it takes months. I'm just gonna work with nvidia (I've been talking to their developers) until it works. If I have to rma 2 more titans xs then so be it. This shyt is gonna work.

What sli bridges are y'all using? The way my mobo works, I can't use a hard one, due to strange spacing. I've tried 2 asus flexible ones. Any other suggestions? Maybe my artifacting is sli bridge related, since it can't be anything else but the cards themselves (as I got artifacting with 2 different machines and completely different parts).

Nvidia was able to reproduce the artifacting in nvidia surround on their end with the titan x sli. My cards aren't messed up. The titan xs have a bug in them. Now I gotta wait for a driver update for them to fix this issue.

Maxing games out at 1440p is an interesting concept, especially when using ssao and msaa.
MSAA 8x looks no different than MSAA 2x. Why do they even have the option? fukk it. Since I'm stuck on one monitor, might as well use it
