if it boots, you're probably straight. make sure all your HDD's show up, and the correct amount of RAM. test the GPU, but if it got fried you probably wouldn't have a picture. in general if something got fuct up from a power surge, it should be obvious (no power, no boot, no picture, smoke, etc)

I mean it was more of a case where my wife was using the blow dryer and I guess there was too much shyt plugged in or somethin..or running at the same time..so I guess it tripped the circuit breaker..

I tested my ratings on Passmark and they are consistent with what they were before the tripped breaker...so I should be fine right?

Looks like I actually fked up the pins on the CPU socket. Standoffs wasnt the issue. RMA'd it and new board working fine.

I don't have a gsync monitor, so I can't speak from experience. but I know the Acer is supposed to be the best one out. it is pricey and sold-out/backordered at most spots

unfortunately there's not a lot of gsync monitors out there, so the prices aren't very 'competitive'. you can get a non-gsync 144hz 1440p monitor for cheaper, but I've heard nothing but great things about gsync

Played my first two counterstrike global offensive league matches. First game went into 4x overtime and we won, I top fragged with like 58 kills. Second game we blew the other team out with me going 35-5 K/D. I was wrecking kids, it was really fun though.
