Here is my build. Any Thoughts? My video card is :flabbynsick: from my old build but I need to figure out my next move on the video card front. Sli or no sli, that is the question!

Have you bought it yet? If not i'd drop the 4790k for a 4670k, leave some extra budget for future gpu upgrade. For gaming it won't make a significant difference.

I already bought it and built it. What kind of gpu should I go for? Is Sli really worth it? I tried playing Marvel Super Heroes and according to steam fps counter I was getting 11 fps running around on that game on low settings. I got the 4790k for $299 from frys.

depends on your budget. but I don't think SLI is worth it, unless you're trying to do 4k, and then you'll need two top-of-the-line gpu's

SLI has it's problems, but when it works it's great. For example, I can play witcher 3 at all ultra, nvidia gameworks, 1440p at over 60fps always. You can't do that with one card.

SLI fukks up a lot though (no profiles, devs not using it, etc.). It's a hassle a lot of the time to be honest. For example, in the new Batman, SLI actually makes the game run worse because the devs implemented it wrong.

What's this ARK: Survival Evolved? It's always number one on Steam. What's the big deal? It gets mixed reviews too. I don't get it

Should I go for the 980ti?
I have 2 titan xs (which are basically 980tis with more ram). If you're gaming at 1440p or higher, I highly recommend the 980ti (or two of them if you want all ultra 60fps on everything). At 1080p, you can probably get away with a 970/980.
