Where's the talk about the games y'all? Too much talk about buying shyt (myself included). Here's what I've been playing lately:
The Ball - Underrated gem right here!! The game is a puzzle/adventure sort of game played from the first person perspective (like Portal). The atmosphere is reminiscent of Tomb Raider (you're basically exploring some mysterious and mystic ancient underground civilization. All around fun indie game (made by makers of The Killing Floor and Red Orchestra 2).
Binding of Isaac - Here's a solid game that didn't really click with me the first couple times I played it. It
really annoys me that this game was made in flash (steam overlay doesn't even work) and that there's no native control pad support (need to use joy2key). Also, the fact that it controls like a dual stick shooter caused me to be disappointed to find that I could only shoot in 4 different directions
Anyway, once I got over those gripes, there's some solid gameplay to be had. It borrows a lot look-wise from Zelda 1 dungeons but the game basically has you exploring randomly generated dungeons with challenging enemies finding strong powerups along the way. Part of what makes it fun is simply the pursuit of loot (like so many other loot whoring games).
thats usually the problem people have with getting a complete system set up. That was the only thing I could not get to work when it was installed on my netbook.
I think if you want to dual boot (or even triple boot) off the same hdd you will need to start from scratch with a fresh install of os x first, then windows, then linux.
You will also need to remove a ram stick (I am assuming you have 2x4gb sticks) to get the install to go through, installation will only work with a max of 4gb for some reason. You can then put the ram back in afterwards.
It really is a pain in the ass, but if you follow the tonymacx86 snow leopard tutorial you will have a stable installation. You will then be able to download mac os x lion from the app store and be good to go.
Takes a couple of hours.
Yeah, I'm not pressed enough yet to bother with it. Maybe at some point
