Got damn this I7 got me pushing frames like crazy. Rated just below for a full 4k PC on 3D Mark.
Try the 4K 3D Mark test. You might be singing a different tune...Got damn this I7 got me pushing frames like crazy. Rated just below for a full 4k PC on 3D Mark.

Titan X sliWhat GPU do you run? Thinking about in the next 6 months running a crossfire with two 290x. I know i can run the VR with no problem based on the benchmarks![]()
Brehs, have ya'll ever had artifacts in a game that looks like a red dot/star twinkling? Like in this video
It's not bad, but i'm on the lookout for them in every game i play now. I'm playing Dying Light (Maxed out), and Witcher 3 (Ultra/High) on my new 970. Witcher 3 doesn't seem to do it any more if i lower my oc settings in afterburner to +185 core, and +698 memory (i can get up to about +230 core, and +710 memory without crashing). Dying Light still does it at those lower settings. @ stock settings i'm not sure yet. The card itself is already factory overclocked, and other games work great so far, no artifacts, maxed out, and at my highest overclock (Mortal Kombat X, and Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster). I just hope it's the games (being sensitive to overclocking), and not my card. I ain't tryna damage, or go through the process of RMAing this shyt.
Thanks. I'm like 95% sure it's my overclock. In Dying light the artifacts are random, but i think it has something to do with the sun/bloom effect. Witcher3 doesn't do it anymore since lowering my oc a bit (crosses fingers). When it did, it happened whenever i went under water, or looked at the sun. Raising the core, and memory in afterburner is so damn tempting (i was hitting over 1200mhz on the core, over 1400mhz with boost, and 4200mhz on the memory)sounds like an unstable overclock. it is kind of a dilemma if losing that extra clock speed is worth not seeing a artifact here or there. if you're seeing frequent artifacts, you probably should dial it down a little
you're really not promised anything with overclocking. +185 on a factory overclocked card is a lot. sure people on the internet will all claim their card gets higher clocks. but besides the 'silicon lottery', many of those people are just full of shyt, or not properly testing their overclock

I bought the Oculus Rift. It's coming in early April. I can't wait for VR![]()
Nah, I'm good. Everything is always below 80cGot damn breh your room probably hot as shyt with all that heat from those devices lmao.

I liquid cool my cpu. I have a H90 now, but I have an h80i in my other system. The h80i is better. I recommend that oneWhat cooling system do you use and what cooling system would you suggest for my I7?

My GPUs are cooled on air. I just use a custom fan curve. You have a very hot card though, so I'd recommend liquid cooling it (my friend just did it with an h60 on his 290x...He said it was easy to install).
Yeah step your wire management up.See it is only 75 bucks at micro center. I have to wire manage my computer though shyt horrible lol
How are you getting 1440p to run on your Samsung 4K? I have a Samsung 4K and 1440p always fukks up. What settings are you running on your TV?Playing 2K and GTA V at 2K is unbelievable getting over 60 plus frames per second shyt is godly looking find myself just staring at the graphics.
Bought the Club3D adapter which allows 1.2 signals to transmit to 2.0 HDMI.
