need some help brehs.

put everything together, power on, seems like everything is running fine, then the power cuts out.

then it seems like its gonna start up again, repeat

same things just keeps happening.

took it all apart, put it back, made sure everything was tight, same issue.

any idea what i did wrong?
With the power going out, I would look into your PSU. What is your PSU? Are you overclocking? Is your GPU too powerful for your PSU? Take your overclock off if you have one on

could be the processor or the power supply. Does it not reach the POST and keeps resetting or it powers down then resets on its own in a loop.

im assuming the 1080ti wont come out till next year :(

Titan pascal will probably be this year tho
No way it comes out this year. They'll put out the regulars then let AMD go then put out the Titan in the fall and maybe a year from now the ti version.

If you have a 980 ti it or better might be best to skip this whole generation because we're probably still a generation away from 4K @ 60fps on a single card.

Do you have 2 sticks of ram? I'd say boot with a single stick of ram, the cpu, and use the onboard video. if you have an older PC with a different power supply you can switch that.

Breh what are you doing with your components.

:dead: @ the thought of MULTIPLE Titan X's looking and feeling :flabbynsick:
I wanna play all ultra 1440p 60fps. ROTR, the Division, and others aren't hitting it. I just wanna overpower shyt. But now I'm on the VR tip, so it really doesn't matter. 1 Titan X is more than adequate (sli isn't available on VR just yet). I really want 3x1440p (6K), all ultra, 60fps. I hope I can get that with the Pascal Titans. I also want the new 8-core intel i7s. I'll upgrade once both are available.

And I won't be building my next PC. I'm going with an Origin PC with a 3 year upgrade plan. fukk building shyt anymore. I don't care what y'all say. I'm sick and tired of buying shyt, putting it together, RMAing bullshyt, etc. I'll spend $4k on an OriginPC and be set for 3 years. fukk y'all that call me a casual :umad:

Casual :troll:

Actually, I have changed my tune a bit when it comes to prebuilds. The premium is not as significant as people lead others to believe as long as you know how to shop. Plus being able to just contact 1 company instead of reaching out to EVGA, ASUS, MSI, Intel etc is well worth the small premium you might be paying up front.

exactly. OriginPC makes good computers and has a good upgrade plan. It might cost me an extra $500, but the warranty, dealing with one company instead of 15, etc., has made me want to buy from them. It's the smart move on my part. After building my last few PCs, and having to RMA shyt from different companies (and all the bullshyt that entails), I just wanna deal with one company. Plus you get a 3 year warranty, with upgradedable components....it's a no-brainer.

I just want a no hassle situation. OriginPC can give that to me. Plus, I can finance if I want (probably won't though)

I've never had to RMA anything. I usually buy local though. At the worst I have to make the 45 minute drive back to Microcenter. With my 980 ti 6700K build I only had to go back to swap the RAM. Whatever you got is probably killing my build. Don't see why you'd need to upgrade with an overkill PC.
