I wanna play all ultra 1440p 60fps. ROTR, the Division, and others aren't hitting it. I just wanna overpower shyt. But now I'm on the VR tip, so it really doesn't matter. 1 Titan X is more than adequate (sli isn't available on VR just yet). I really want 3x1440p (6K), all ultra, 60fps. I hope I can get that with the Pascal Titans. I also want the new 8-core intel i7s. I'll upgrade once both are available.
And I won't be building my next PC. I'm going with an Origin PC with a 3 year upgrade plan. fukk building shyt anymore. I don't care what y'all say. I'm sick and tired of buying shyt, putting it together, RMAing bullshyt, etc. I'll spend $4k on an OriginPC and be set for 3 years. fukk y'all that call me a casual![]()

. But you were saying hold off until that price drop right? It's worth the extra $50-$60Intel Core i7-6700, EVGA GeForce GTX 980, Corsair 200R - System Build - PCPartPicker New setup @Liquid. I jumped up to the 980 it tore straight through my budget though. But you were saying hold off until that price drop right?
Also I went down to 8gb ram, went up to 700w, and changed to a cheaper motherboard.

Yea now that I think of it I really have no use for that 1tb I got externals for movies and and just need that ssd for quicker boots. It's worth the extra $50-$60
I would go with a single 8GB RAM Stick TBH, Dual Channel doesn't really do much in gaming...plus leaves you with a clear path to 32GB+ if ever needed. I refuse to grab 4GB sticks anymore.
Also, if you don't need all that storage right away...hold off on that 1TB Mechanical and upgrade the CPU to a Core i7 6700K
Is there any reason you are aiming for the i7 6700? Video editing?

I think I'm gonna sell my R9 280 and get two GTX 550 TI and run it in SLI.
I'm selling the 280 for $200 and I see two SLI 550 TI's going for $60 on my craigslist. The rest of the money I'll just upgrade my SSD and put my games on there.that is not a good idea.
first of all 550's are way played out.
many games don't use SLI and if thy do, it's not done well.
get one good card.
get a 970.
if i'm wrong then let the Arcadium string me up with my words.
