Yeah, I guess I just hold them largely responsible for the way they handled steam machines. It was mostly on them to try and come out with a clean solution to the "Windows Problem" they had. IMO it needed to be a highly curated set of hardware/manufacturers to come out with the best possible experience. A bit of a stretch since they were in charge of the software on the boxes, but in turn it put companies like Dell in a bind to sell boxes that were aimed at the conscious minded gamer...with terrible performance across the board compared to similar specs on windows machines.uh, there's only the controller and the Steam Link. and sorta the HTC Vive
the controller is piff. Steam Link is a streaming box, that seems to work as good as other streaming boxes
As much as I love the idea of a complete open source I am not sure that is the route to take when it comes to gaming. It has never worked as great as a closed model for a multitude of reasons.
