I run 4K on select games with the 970 on low to medium settings. And that sounds fair.

I'd rather play checkerboarded 4K on a console than go down to medium or low. But that's just me

at least on PC you can choose what you want to prioritize. you can render at a lower resolution and have the gpu handle the scaling. dude doesn't even have a 4K monitor yet, so he's probably talking about DSR anyway. lowering settings to use DSR is definitely a conscious choice he made because he likes the results

My HDD disappears from my system when I resume my computer from sleep? I have it as a secondary drive to my SSD on Windows 10. This happen to anyone? I dont know how to fix it. It comes back when I reboot my computer.

Check disk management

Windows+R to open Run, type diskmgmt.msc

It disappears from there too. I stopped Power management from turning off the HDD. I also am just going to turn sleep off for my rig. No point. I can boot really fast. Hopefully this helps.

Run WinDFT, extended SMART test and see if your drive is okay. You can find it on the HGST site (don't worry it works with all HDDs).

Keep in mind it will take hours to run. If it looks frozen, it's not. It could take up to 12 hours, depending on your HDD size

I'll look into it, I heard that prebuilt is a no go. I wanna spend about $600-$700 and just rock with cs go only . Any reccomended builds?

Thanks man, I know nothin about pc's. I heard cs go is more a CPU intensive game than a graphic intensive. Then they get to talkin i3, i5, processors and I get lost.

Any help is appreciated

it will run on a toaster. but if you want high framerates, you will need a good cpu, and a decent gpu. it kind of depends on what monitor you're gonna get. CS players usually want a high refresh rate

I got me a 16,000 DPI myself. It took a while to get used to such a fast mouse, but once you do, it's game over.
