Brehs... My PC is old at this point. It's an 09 laptop i got for school; 4gb ram, GT240M 1gb, and a intel dual core @ 2.85. I wanna build something for under 600$ (not including monitors/keyboards/mice) that will last me a couple of years, or at least be easily upgradeable. Think I should jump on it in the next couple of months? Or wait till the 360's successor gets revealed and we have a better idea of specs for this gen, and maybe buy round the holidays?
Cot damn at that computer
@daze23 im streaming crysis 3 all high settings at 80-110 fps. Streaming! If i put it on very high still be above 60 fps. Not sure why people cant get decent fps in it. EA games are all about CPU more than GPU
Also cot damn at the crysis 3 flop
are you playing multi or sp? it's my understanding the first level of the campaign is particularly heavy. and a lot of the dx11 effects aren't in multi regardless of your settings
I'd wait until the next systems drop before I upgraded, you can get a better idea of what you'll need by then, and when the 700 series drops you may be able to get deals on the 600 cards.
im playing multi
Thats weird, multi usually is way worse on your fps than single player
