They see me trolling, they hating.....

I've tried all that. I tried to make 1080P a custom resolution but sometimes it doesn't work. I even went into the crysis install directory and found this cfg file with R_width and changed it to 1920x1080 from 1280x720 and it didn't change. I even set the file as read only and it still didn't do anything. Oh well I'm not complaining though my TV is 720P and Crysis 3 still looks amazing on it.

@daze23 I tried everthing on very high sans AA and my framerate was like :childplease: shyt looked  but played choppy with framerates chugging along in the low 20's even high teens. I knocked back shading and shadows to medium/high and it increased framerates but it wasn't hitting 40. I think texture resolution is the biggest offender. I'll try it at high with everything on very high again.

shoulda copped that GTX680 nikkah :noah:

nah, texture resolution pretty much only depends on the amount of memory your card has. lighting and shadows are the usual suspects. I think 'object quality' might effect actual geometry, so that could be a big one too

I'll play with that.

I'm good for now. Crysis 3 is very playable for me at 720P on high. 40-60FPS on high at 720P is vastly superior to the console versions.

I'll cop a 680 around the time PS4 drop.

are you using HDMI?
Yup. Crysis 3 and Crysis 1 is the only game that has this problem.

For some reason now Crysis 3 lets me choose a higher resolution 1360x768(native res of my tV)

Idk how the game runs so good on my rig but with the texture resolution on high and system spec(medium) and no AA the game maintains 55-60fps in intense fireight. I literally stood there and shot at the helicopter while on that bridge and the FPS was almost rock solid The lighting, particle effects and overall image was looking

I think I'm good for now. If this looks good on this resolution I can't imagine how it'll play on a 680 at higher resolutions. :noah:
I wonder what's wrong with other people's setups because I was browsing Neogaf and seen guys talking about they have dual 680's or something like that getting terrible performance in the first level.

Settings. Max settings is a whole lot more resource intensive than high@768p. MSAA alone can stomp a card out.

they want to play it at 1080p with, everything very high, 4x+ MSAA, and get 60+fps. but...

people with two 680's should be straight. but it's a rude awakening for people with one 680, cause they're used to kickin every game's ass. naturally the first thing they do is cry foul like Crysis 3 did something wrong

the game really does look amazing. I just spent like 5 minutes looking at tessellation on a wall :ahh: shyt's pretty fun too. fighting the aliens in the tall grass is pretty intense. I like Crysis games. I think they're good kinda 'tactical shooter', although that aspect has never been as good as it was in the first game

Any of y'all use the Cvar Configurator?

First thing I turned off was chromatic abberation. That thing seriously distorts the image and makes it unclear.

I can't fukks wit a wireless mouse. G500 here with all the weights. :lift:

Funny I have none of the weights in on my G500.

Do you ever get that cord drag stuff? I use a KB Tray and fukk me I can't get past that bullshyt. I screwed in a hook underneath my desk just to compensate and pass the wire through but I'd rather see if wireless fits the bill avoiding all that crap.

My PC sits on my desk and I made sure my keyboard and mouse were the last things I plugged into it so that I'd avoid that. Even then my keyboard has a usb port which I could plug the mouse into.

:ohhh: These guys almost got me.... lol

So I'm playing Crysis 3 and on the second level there's a part where you get this new gun that you need to use to progress further... Only problem is the gun has no ammo!! I think they intentionally did that for people who use cracks aka bootleg the game. Smh Supposedly I found a way around it, I just gotta try.
