Yea my Toshiba TV I got back in 08 doesn't support 60hz @ 1920x1080.

It does 1920x1080@30hz interlaced. I googled online and found out that Crysis 3(and a few other EA games) supposedly run only in 60hz mode so it'll just run at the highest resolution that supports that refresh rate.

I went downstairs to my cousin's room and hooked up my PC to his TV(a 720P native TV) and I was able to select higher resolutions for Crysis 3 although anything higher than 720P had a loss of color for some reason. Both TV's I hooked up to were through HDMI.

Can the mods in the vids i posted work for single player campaign b?

the graphics mods, sure. the other maps will only work if they've got some kind of campaign made for them. I know most of them do. I was recently playing VietCry

if you were mainly a console gamer a 720p TV wouldn't even matter much though.

If you really want to game at a high level you have evolved past televisions at this point breh and are looking @ IPS or high end 1080P monitors.

1080p ain't high end gaming on a PC. if you're gaming resolution is that low a tv wouldn't be an issue. sure 1080p looks better on a 20 something inch pc monitor than a 40+ inch TV but still.

2560x1440...I need this in my life

I havent pulled the trigger because I want 3 of them. I figure at this rate I'll be blind by 40 so I might as well go out with a bang and have the most pixels directly in front of my face.

Most console games aren't even full HD and even fewer are rendered in 1080P.
