Yea my Toshiba TV I got back in 08 doesn't support 60hz @ 1920x1080.
It does 1920x1080@30hz interlaced. I googled online and found out that Crysis 3(and a few other EA games) supposedly run only in 60hz mode so it'll just run at the highest resolution that supports that refresh rate.
I went downstairs to my cousin's room and hooked up my PC to his TV(a 720P native TV) and I was able to select higher resolutions for Crysis 3 although anything higher than 720P had a loss of color for some reason. Both TV's I hooked up to were through HDMI.
