I ran the benchmark a few hundred times last night. a benchmark is something pretty every PC game should have IMO. the only problem with the benchmark in Tomb Raider is that it doesn't push my system quite as much as some of the actual situations in game, and that is specifically what a benchmark should do

I'm not sure what you mean with your 2nd question. you run the benchmark, and at the end it tells you your minimum, average, and max framerate. from there you can adjust settings, and run it again, to see how it effects the numbers

Game runs smoother. Tressfx is definitely not as resource hungry.

The game has a built in option.

it will tell you at the end what you min, average, and max were. but having fraps (or similar program) on will let you see that in 'real time'

personally I use evga precision to display my gpu temp, usage, fan speed, vram usage, and fps

vertical sync, it limits the fps you get so you wont get any screen tearing

Brehs BF3 has become unplayable for me. I get kicked every 8 minutes saying server time out or some bullshyt. This has only started happening recently. Im thinking it might have something to do with that youtube hack someone posted a thread on couple days ago.

I did, but ill try it again and see what happens.

I actually just turned off UPnP Device Host and Network discovery. Saw someone say that works. Gonna try that.
