The 7990 will be two 7950's CF on the same PCB. For that you may as well purchase two 7950's and get better performance while saving 200-300.

Correction, The 7990 will indeed be dual full blown 7970 GHZ edition GPU's.

I'd still wait for the verdict of the CF runt frames fix though before going that route.

I saw you put Arma 3 on your wishlist. I think that game is gonna only get more expensive as we get closer to release. it's $32 now, and I imagine it will be around $50 at release

they're going with the 'minecraft model'. basically you pay a low price because you're helping with testing

for that matter, if the game is available for less anytime soon, a lot of people would be pretty upset

the retail will probably be more more expensive. and they might bump up the price soon when it goes into 'beta'

i mean im waiting to see how people feel about the game itself. id rather spend more on a game i want than spend a few bucks less and get something that doesnt really live up to my expectations

I got "98.2 hrs on record", so I feel like I already got my $30 worth. that being said, it has cpu bottleneck issues, like Arma 2. it's just the nature of the kind of simulation they're trying to pull off. hopefully it will get better with optimizations, but don't expect to maintain 60fps, regardless of your setup

the game itself is amazing though. and the nature of the modding community, as well as the included editor (where I spend most of my time), means there's already a lot of user content

this is a bit of an obscure indie game, but here's a public service announcement: if you bought La Mulana from Playism, you can get a steam code to activate it on steam as well. just go to Playism La Mulana Steam Keys and enter your email address from the account you used to buy the game, and it will give you the code

This Arma 3 seems intriguing. My guess is the endless possibilities. I want to see a mod that makes it more of an action game.
