That's easily over a G though...quite a bit over. With the HP I had a monitor, keyboard/mouse, windows 8 and Microsoft Office. I'm checking out this superbiiz website tho... see what's up.
i guess if it isn't for gaming that wouldn't matter.

the thing with PCs is once you build of have one you already have things like a power supply, a hard drive, a case, an optical drive. you don't have to rebuy those things so all you end up needing is a new mobo/processor/video card.

i paid about $850 at Microcenter and walked out with a new case, 16 GBs of RAM, a GTX 670, a 3570K core i5, a better than stock air cooler, a new power supply, and that MSI mobo.

i already had an OS, several hard drives, and an optical drive at home. in all honesty i had a case and cooler too but i ended up keeping those and moving my old build into my bedroom.

my pc runs at 4.2 GHz on air cooling all the time. you probably can't even overclock a store bought PC.

Have ya'll heard of Nvidia's "Shadow Play"?

ShadowPlay, planned for Summer 2013, constantly works in the background utilizing the H.264 encoder built into every Kepler GPU from NVIDIA to auto-record your last 20 minutes of gameplay. “But wait,” I hear you saying. “FRAPS has recorded my game footage for years.” While that’s true, the recording process comes with a noticeable hit to performance, something NVIDIA tells me isn’t a concern with ShadowPlay.

Moreover, FRAPS creates impossibly large video files. Set to comparative quality settings (30fps at 1080p), a 1 minute and 9 second clip of Borderlands 2 results in a 3.6GB file with FRAPS. Using ShadowPlay to record the same length of gameplay yields a file size of 238MB.

Put them cuda cores to use.

yeah, you're missing a cpu. that mobo has onboard audio, so you don't need a sound card

overall that build looks way better though

Gang violence...
I'm kinda dissapointed with how the TITAN is failing against the AMD 7990

Hell even the 7970 in Crossfire is still a monster. NVIDIA is not starting this next generation off well...after losing this past gen already :snoop:

in my opinion, amd framerates are too unstable to recommend over a faster single GPU set up.

U talkin bout amd in general or just that specific one?..cause both Amd and Nvidia make good cards and its all about preference...one thing I will say is u can get a powerful Amd card for way cheaper than Nvidia...

I need a new game brehs. Is Metro: Last Light worth it? I'm seeing mixed reviews, but it looks pretty cool. Plus with GMG I can get it for $40

i bought an Nividia code off eBay for like $25 so you can get it cheaper than $40.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Metro-Last-...1800?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item257e507438
that's a buy it now for $25 but if you bit on one you might get lucky and get it a lil cheaper

you should always watch the promo games that come with graphics cards because people often sell the codes on eBay dirt cheap.
