Big gamer :takedat:

Thanks for this build though :ehh:
I would drop down to 8GB RAM and if you can deal with the storage, down to 1TB and possibly move up to a 7950.

The next gen is almost upon us and I'm excited again :wow2:

im talking about crossfire performance
both suffer from Microstuttering, but SLI is better with it.

I honestly think its way overblown as I haven't had those crazy issues I read about online.

Why do you recommend an SSD though, @Liquid ?

Just for backup? I already have an exHD.

SSD is by far the best investment you can make to improve the quality of interaction with your PC, I would have paid more than double for mine and I have a samsung 830 256gb on my MBP and an Intel 330 180gb on my desktop and keep another one of those for backup purposes because I aint ever trying to go back to a regular hdd

also, i would def cop a cpu + mobo from microcenter, you could easily get like a 2500k+some gigabyte z77 or z68 hackintosh-able combo for a cheap ass price

I personally wouldn't build/purchase anything this month as Haswell CPU's/Mobos are coming out next month. Even if you don't want the latest and greatest you'll be sure to get better deals on Ivy and Sandy once Haswell is out.

Have any of you guys tried the Nvidia Lifelike Human Face Demo?

While I've seen some crazy deals last week it wasn't wide spread so not yet. I can only imagine it will though when the GTX 770 drops next week. It itself is just a refresh of the 680 (GK104), about 10% faster. It's pretty much going to swallow the 680 market unless it gets decent price drop or Nvidia prices the 770 way above it. Rumors are pointing towards $500 GTX 770.

No, SSD will be your main drive to boot from.

When you get one you will understand. Its hard to go back once you had one.

I know the laptop you are talking about. It will improve speeds tremendously.

Your Laptop has DDR3 1600 RAM, get another 4GB stick in there along with that SSD and you will be good for a couple of years :stylin:
