cleaned out my pc and I had enough dust in it to make a castle out of it. I dropped about 30C's just doing that alone
Trying to build for the majority and I would think most would want a wireless kb/mI personally can't stand wireless keyboards and mice (G700 being the exception). Especially cheap ones.

I added a heatsink to the last build now.

I've never had a problem with the drivers for the 360 wireless controllerI personally can't stand wireless keyboards and mice (G700 being the exception). Especially cheap ones.
Edit: Also, stick to recommending the wired 360 controller. You need the wireless receiver in order to get the wireless ones to work and the drivers for the receiver are a pain to get working properly.

I'm contemplating selling my superclocked 570 and getting another card. I don't want to SLI...do you guys encounter too many problems due to SLI like tearing etc. ?

I ask because I want the best...no compromises

Tearing is due to your FPS exceeding your monitors refresh rate. With vsync on you won't see any tearing. That or if you have a 120hz or more monitor.
So I had to swap out that SSD. So now I only have about $20 left...its either an aftermarket heatsink or a better KB/M.
I think most would want a better KB/M so I went with that:

I'm beginning to think I was sold a bootleg receiver.![]()
Also, you use the word best very loosely. For 1K you will have plenty of compromises.

Its really tough because I want a few things:I'm not sure what to say about the kb/m thing. it's just that I feel like people are gonna want something a lot better if they really get into PC gaming. especially with the mouse. obviously you can always upgrade, but at the same time I know people might not want to buy something twice
I'm not sure what to recommend though. a nice kb & mouse can easily run 10x that $15 price. I would definitely prioritize the mouse. aside from higher DPI, having a mouse with extra buttons really helps. getting a backlit keyboard made a big difference for me, cause it made it easy to play with the lights out
if nothing else, I guess it's something for people to consider and factor into their purchase. especially if they don't mind spending a little more money, and they really want a 'bad-ass' rig
Ya but I've always been under the impression that one card solutions always trump 2 cards. SLI usually has less support for issues ( probably more now) and such. I think i meant microstuttering not tearing. Anyway what would 2 570s even be like? I rarely see 570 benchmarks.
