I didn't even know there was an PC Thread. I created a post earlier for nothing.

Anyway, hey everyone I just recently ordered a laptop that should be shipped to me today. It's a Windows 8 Laptop, this is my first Windows computer since 2007 and that had XP at the time.

What I need help with is what programs/applications do I need?
I'm talking any and everything nerdy. Browsers, Add-Ins, Anti-virus stuff, torrents etc.

There is 259 pages of gold here, I'll read back in the meantime I guess.

Say breh, what water cooler would you recommend for a mini itx build? The case is the Silverstone SG06 case I linked a couple of days ago.

I am looking at the Silverstone TD03, but its a little too loud...I want this thing silent.

I am looking at the Silverstone TD03, but its a little too loud...I want this thing silent.

I'd go with the Corsair H60 or H80i depending on what you want to spend. Not that they are better than the Silverstone but I just like knowing that if there's a leak Corsair will replace everything the unit damaged. Noise is going to be determined by the fans used and speeds they are set to. The fans the Corsair units come with are better than the Silverstone. The pumps for all these AIO's are pretty quiet.

Our brethren who have taken the plunge have said that the frame drops are unacceptable to those with discerning eyes. The peasants don't notice it as much, but we the few can see it.

@Malta I rented GTA V. Just got it from gamefly after restarting for $6

BTW gamefly must be really struggling. I got GTA V immediately, a $5 off coupon I spent on hitman absolution and also have a 15% off coupon

all for reuping for $5.95

anyone thinking of doing this just make sure GTA V is the only thing on your list, might take a few days but they WILL send it. A new member with no games out scares the shyt out of them, trust me I used to know someone who worked there.

These nikkas off dayz....

Man i found a dmr and some 2 bandits(didn't know they was bandits) somehow spotted me and waited till i was in a dark and isolated area till they spoke too me..they was acting all friendly and shyt...few minutes later.....they told me if i don't put the dmr down they would shoot me in the back of the head..and i did just that.After i did that they told me to walk down a straight line...and they executed my ass... shyt was cold blooded... this was all in seconds and i couldn't do shyt about it. Looks like i'm going back to KOS.

Brehs, I just built a hackintosh with my old pc. I feel like I've betrayed the gods or something ( and/or ). Anybody ever tried steam on a mac? I'm bout to dive in
