Yes I can blame religion for exactly that....and I assume you have no answer to my question....![]()
Because they're being paid. There. I answered your question. It ain't got nothing to do with religion.

I don't say it too much personally out of respect, but anyone that was once religious and no longer is knows... once you finally leave and get comfortable with it you realize, everything is on YOU
ain't nobody coming to save you, you gotta do for self... so it's frustrating to hear people continually say "God is gonna provide", "Put it in God's hands" and all this other bullshyt. Before you even CONSIDER putting up a fight, you relegate yourself to "being the clay" and "lean on Jesus", I couldn't tell you how many posts I saw today. I went to some shyt tonight where people were talking about ACTION. Wtf are we gonna do? That should be the main question on people's minds but I already know.... a lotta people out there held prayer meetings
I don't hate religion I just hate what it's done to us. That ain't just black people either.Because they're being paid. There. I answered your question. It ain't got nothing to do with religion.
But what does being paid have to do with the Scriptures they quote, which are faithfully followed....such as the famous:

Matthew 5:44 - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Who paid to write that?![]()
Are they quoting the Old Testament?![]()
I don't know. Are they?
Sure you know.....I just showed you the scripture that our people follow nowadays......
I said Old Testament.

The churches were ground zero for the civil rights movement. Even Malcolm had Islam
Most of the community groups I know of were started, based out of, or connected to the church in some way.
What made us soft was thinking shyt was sweet and letting our history and community die. The church has some of the last remnants of community we have. This isn't even about believing in God, this is about people organized and coming together. Look beyond the stereotypes of church.

Not true for all churches, like I said most of the community organization I know of have some kind of connection to the church. And they are not talking about just waiting and praying for an answers. They are actually doing things in the community. The bible doesn't even say sit and wait, but I am not even going to get into that.The church gathers nikkas up to keep you praying only. Once you bend down and wait for an answer, you will never seek one.....
