I will say at least to me this is Sony’s weakest gen. Jim Ryan’s fetish for live service games did some damage. My ranking goes

1. PS2
2. PS1
3. PS4
4. PS3
5. PS5

This is absolutely the WORST gen for gaming.

And I'd flip 4 and 3 on this list.

The reason PS5 era is the worst is because they basically don't make gsmes anymore unless it's an RPG game. There's literally no variety anymore.

If i don't like games about fantasy dragon slaying or zombies etc, there's almost nothing to play.
