Maaan I'm looking around online for beat maker tutorials so I can get better in FL studio and all I see is white white white producer videos. I'm not hating on white people in hip hop do yall thing but I damn sure aint trying to learn rhythm and soulful melody from yall.

I understand rap/pop is changing in terms of what is promoted to award status but they still have to hit up the talented black beat makers and song producers to make hits or is that also changing?

Alchemist, Scott Storch n dem are white so I guess the producer tides are turning also.

I took piano and violin in school but thats beside the point breh. I bet if you go on youtube or wherever to look for hiphop/rap/trap beat making tutorials you got a 90% chance the producer teaching the video gonna be white. just threw me off when I first noticed it.

I don't even watch any of these new interviews online...With white and Asian interviewers..
Websites run by white people in hip hop that cater to white people in hip hop...
Whites and Asians running streetwear brands based off of black culture with no black people present other than consumers...
White djs playing trap at edm festivals where the only black people you see are security guards and at food booths...man the game sucks. I feel the frustration this thread conveys.
