KD doesn't need to lead the team in every stat for the team to win, what kind of bullshyt is that?
Serge should be leading the team in boarding is a damn power foward, Russ should lead the team in assist he's the fukking point guard

I've never said KD is better than LeBron but I'm sure if Durant played at the 4 for an entire game of course his Rebounding is bound to go up, I'm sure if he had the ball in his hands more he would have a bit more assist, Hell I'm sure if he took more shots than he does he could avg in the mid-30's.

I'm just saying his numbers are comparable. There are other players on the thunder that have specific roles, OKC actually plays with a pf and a C.


And also when has Durant been abused on Defense this year??

You said whoever wins this award its based on bullshyt stats so yes if its based on what you say then as I said in the other MVP thread I can see LeBron winning again, but nikkas need to lay off the bullshyt acting like it isn't a close race KD would deserve the award just as much as if Bron wins.

KD is primarily playing SF with a hint of PF, LeBron is primarily playing power forward who do you expect to have more boards (.6 more) at that.

@ winning the MVP because you lead your team in the majority of the stats when there is a comparable candidate, I already stated why that criteria is flawed ​

No, in that other post you acknowledged that Lebron is asked to do more for his team than Durant is. Go back and read it.

No one said he couldn't. And that's a different debate. The fact that he doesn't have to do them proves that Lebron is more valuable to his team. Lebron HAD to do those things in order for his team to be in the position it's in and moving forward, he has to do them in order for The Heat to remain the #1 seed in the East.

If there are two comparable players for the MVP award, the sole basis cannot boil down to the teammates that they play with.

I can easily say Durant should be MVP because his stats are comparable to LeBrons despite not having to do everything for his team
