#Vault7: Assange backs ‘Digital Geneva Convention’ to curb use of state spying arsenals
Microsoft calls for 'digital Geneva Convention'
I will, until someone actually brings some evidence to the contrary.

What point are you trying to make?
eh, no reason to believe it's anything more than intelligent people coming to logical conclusions
of course you could theorize that such a convention would be to put in place regulations to enforce but not follow themselves
but 100% defense 0% offense is common sense.. unrealistic, but what would you rather them say and propose![]()
What point are you trying to make?
MS worldwide is losing marketshare and taking a hit precisely because the US government can force them to do things they don't want to do, by nature of being a US tech company. They are lobbying for a law that would make the current things they have to do illegal. Assange supports international standard that would make government spying illegal.
While I think appeal to various international states is useless, I fail to see how this is a negative.
Attacking the messenger is a pretty basic logical fallacy. Its like having a human rights convention sponsored by Walmart and Pepsi or Coke.
Attacking the messenger is a pretty basic logical fallacy.
If you attacked that the convention tries to act as if spying is okay in "times of war" I'm with you 100% in that it is bs. But to attack it because it was proposed by MS, that is intellectually weak.
This would mean that Russia is a utopian society and the Trump team really is a finely tuned machine, and his tax records are clean. It's just not a possibility. Two scenarios in my mind:
Perhaps the purpose of Wikileaks is to normalize the surveillance state in the public conscious?Since its inception Wikileaks has slowly dripped hidden truths regarding the techno-state into the public stream, it would serve as an indirect and calculated method of revealing the global omnipresent surveillance net. In the book 1984 a large part of the surveillance, occurs in the individuals own mind where they begin to censor their thoughts, words and actions out of the fear of being watched and known.
OR
Wikileaks is the real deal, and any attempts to tie it to partisian politics is a psyop to discredit the organizations work as a whole.
Assange isn't my boy though.
Assange isn't my boy though.
And your links don't say much in actual substance, you are trying to infer and allude to things that you can't really support outright with facts or evidence.
Trump supported Wikileaks because they released something that was in his interests. Republicans and Dems are corporatists, look no further than the Dem president and the nominee in Clinton and their deep corporate ties.Facts are Trump was supporting Wikileaks before being elected and this is just buddy support. Republicans are for the Corporation side of Facism. Assange supports Corporations as in my last posts.
Just a matter of time before your eyes finally open.

Assange supports who ever cuts him a check for funding or can keep him safe from US extradition.
My eyes are very open, it would be nice though if you could present actual evidence for what you are arguing.
I dont know the span of Trump's interests and I"m not arguing it.Trump interests arent his own but special interest think tanks. Wikileaks didnt drop info for him but those who he is allied with.

I don't know who wikileaks drops info for, but what they do drop I'm happy about.
