If you’re too lazy to watch the video he said..

- The way that someone like Rose lands on one foot after a dunk puts a lot of stress on his leg/knee

- someone like Rose/Wade when they run they land on the back of their foot.. Someone like Bron almost sort of runs on the tips of his toes

Either way watch the vid it’s a dope explanation

Players like Russ & Lebron have excellent biomechanics which preserve their bodies despite their explosive style of play. Even deandre Jordan is worth a study cuz that dude big as fukk and jumps a lot but rarely gets any major injuries. You’d think that most training staffs would really hone in on this kind of stuff and make sure players are moving & landing as efficiently as possible.

Jabari Parker with that heel stomp running tho:picard:.

Its too ingrained in guys
you would have to teach d rose how to walk and run properly, then he'd have to still get buckets in his new form.

It's too much for most guys when you can't risk that check.

Running on your toes or the front of your foot all your life does good for your balance and seems to strengthen leg muscles and joints better. I never had a true leg injury playing football from 8 to 17 because I had great balance.

QFT. Some people just predisposed to have a higher risk of injury because of how their body is naturally put together and how joints are structured. I remember reading somewhere about Manny Machado and Dr. James Andrews was saying after he tore ligament in his knee he's going to tear his acl at some point. And that he's going to continue to have ligament issues because of the structure of his knees.
